The technique is called Speech Level Singing (SLS), and is used by stars such as Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Clarkson, Josh Groban, Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Michael Jackson, Dusty Springfield, Nina Simone and Diana Ross, to name but a few!
Also what's great about this technique is that it can be applied to any musical genre out there, whether it be Opera, Classical, Pop or Musical Theatre!
All the teachers at Bromley Vocal Tuition are qualified Speech Level Singing Instructors, who offer:
- One-to-one friendly yet professional vocal tuition for all ages, levels and musical genres
- Lessons specifically tailored to meet the individual vocal needs of the student
- Extensive singing experience and training in teaching the SLS technique
- Lessons based take place at a professional recording/rehearsal studio (Ascape Studios), in a fully equipped tuition room, with an extensive library of lyrics and backing tracks.
Plus the teachers have ample experience in the music industry, with some having been signed to record labels such as Island Records, and others session singing for the likes of Craig David and Lilly Allen.
